Unlocking Collective Action for Climate Impact
Unlocking Collective Action for Climate Impact
As climate impacts intensify, the urgency to act is greater than ever. But no single leader, organization, or industry can tackle this crisis alone. To meet the moment, we must come together—not just to talk, but to leverage our collective power to drive lasting change in business and beyond.
Hosted by SYPartners and the Aspen Institute, this roundtable will convene leaders at the forefront of business and climate to explore the state of collective action in the space—diving deep into the opportunities and challenges, what’s working and what isn’t, and what it takes to build and run coalitions that work.

Low Carbon Lifestyles: Blueprinting Behavioral Change
Low Carbon Lifestyles: Blueprinting Behavioral Change
The climate crisis isn’t just about policies and tech—it’s about helping people lead sustainable lives. In this session, we’ll explore how to use behavioral insights to drive meaningful change, focusing on three key areas:
- Turning climate goals into real-world behavior change.
- Breaking down the barriers that keep consumers and citizens from acting.
- Designing solutions that actually get results.
Our “Low Carbon Lifestyles Wheel,” co-created by BEworks and Futerra will demonstrate how personal actions add up in the fight for global net zero. By sparking a cycle of public action, business innovation, and policy change, we can clear the path to a low-carbon future.
The Space Between Climate & AI
The Space Between Climate & AI
It’s time for a radical shift in how we tackle sustainable innovation. The climate crisis needs solutions that can scale fast—and stick. This session invites you to explore the cutting-edge space where AI meets climate action.
IDEO’s latest research shows that AI-assisted ideas aren’t just more diverse—they’re game-changers, especially for climate solutions. Join us as we share real-world stories about how bold organizations are using AI to create breakthrough solutions that meet the demands of the Climate Era.
Walk away with concrete insights on how to leverage AI to drive sustainable innovation that benefits both your business and the planet.
The Space Between Urgent & Impossible
The Space Between Urgent & Impossible
The scale of the climate crisis demands action that matches its magnitude. While much of that progress is slow and deliberate, there’s also a need for bold, paradigm-shifting moves that can propel climate action forward at speed. The gap between the urgent and the seemingly impossible must be bridged.
This hands-on session, guided by some of IDEO’s top thinkers and doers, offers senior teams a rare chance to explore how to make those leaps with creativity and ambition.
We’ll challenge you to frame a business question that pushes the boundaries of what seems possible. Attendance requires 3-4 representatives per organization. If you and your team are interested in supercharging your thinking, RSVP and we’ll be in touch.
This session includes light bites and drinks.

Japan’s Long Game: Business Lessons for Climate
Japan’s Long Game: Business Lessons for Climate
In Japan, many businesses have thrived for over a century, while in the West, Fortune 500 companies now struggle to survive beyond 15 years. The Japanese secret? Long-term thinking and a commitment to future generations.
In this session, ENND Partners dives into the strategies that Japanese business leaders use to achieve longevity—solutions that could be game-changers in the fight against climate change.
What does it mean to collaborate instead of compete? How does scale influence sustainability? Discover how these time-tested approaches can help us design a future where both people and the planet thrive.
Urban Design, Climate Destiny
Urban Design, Climate Destiny
The shape of our cities isn’t just a backdrop—it’s the hidden engine driving global greenhouse emissions. From transportation and embodied carbon to energy consumption and what we eat, neighborhood layouts dictate more than you think.
Climate-friendly urbanism isn’t just good for the planet; it creates neighborhoods that keep us healthier, happier, and more connected.
In this session, Gehl, in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Institute, introduces a new framework for taking control of our climate destiny by reshaping our cities. Join policy and design leaders in an interactive discussion on making this vision a reality.
We’ll focus on what really matters: new policies, fresh funding approaches, and the human-centered design needed to decarbonize our cities and build neighborhoods we’ll want to live in.
Working With Nature
Working With Nature
Hosted by Gehl, Second Nature, Creative Denmark
How do plants, birds, and pollinators fit into the modern workplace? Can a walking meeting amid monarch butterflies boost creativity and engagement? And how does working alongside nature change how we see ourselves in the bigger picture?
Learn more about how Second Nature, Gehl, and Creative Denmark are working to design nature into the workplace and the tools needed to quantify its positive impact on creativity and productivity. Hear tangible approaches for integrating ecological benefits into real estate from the ground up, and how “high-performance nature” can supercharge workplaces.
We’ll explore the real value nature adds to urban space — plus, get an inside look at the methods used to blend social and ecological spaces into something greater than the sum of their parts.
Is Climate Action Job Creation? Presented by LinkedIn
Is Climate Action Job Creation? Presented by LinkedIn
This lively session will see a team of debaters put their perspectives to the test for and against the motion: “This house believes climate action is job creation.”
According to the International Labour Organization, a global transition to a green economy could create 24 million new jobs by 2030. But as we know, factual statements trigger more questions: Jobs for whom? In which regions of the world? And at what cost to livelihoods and communities?
Job creation is not equivalent to economic inclusion — it is not inherently just. With this in mind, we’ll explore if climate action can truly be job creation.
